About Us
Hi, I’m Chara A. Taylor, and my mission is simple but powerful: to help women and couples experience intimacy that is both sacred and satisfying. I believe God created intimacy not just to be endured but to be enjoyed, and I’m here to show you how to embrace both the holy and the hot in your love life. As the founder of Hot & Holy Intimacy & Wellness, I bring a fresh, faith-filled approach to coaching that blends biblical wisdom, professional expertise, and a little bit of joyful boldness. With 18 years of marriage to my best friend Ronald, a Master’s degree in Mental Health & Wellness, and certifications in Christian counseling and sexual health, I’ve made it my life’s work to break the silence, bust the myths, and give couples and women practical tools to thrive in intimacy. If you’ve ever felt stuck, unseen, or unsure when it comes to passion, desire, or communication in your relationship—you’re not alone. And you don’t have to stay there. I create a safe, judgment-free space where faith and freedom meet, where we can talk openly about the real struggles, and where you’ll leave encouraged, equipped, and empowered to reclaim joy in your body, marriage, and identity.
My Story—From Struggle to Calling
I didn’t set out to become an intimacy coach—I lived my way into this calling. For years, I saw firsthand how Christian women struggled with desire, shame, and silence when it came to intimacy. Even in my own marriage, I’ve had to face the reality that love, passion, and communication take intentional work. But instead of pretending everything was perfect, I leaned into learning, growing, and teaching. As an ordained pastor for over a decade, I walked with couples who loved God but silently battled in their bedrooms. I watched as women carried guilt about their bodies and men struggled with confidence. I realized that the Church often preached about marriage but rarely taught couples how to enjoy the gift of intimacy. That gap became my mission field. My journey has been full of joy and humor too. I even appeared on national television, where I declared my mission to help couples get “50 shades of free and freaky”—and yes, they dubbed it The Hot & Holy Episode! That moment captured exactly who I am: unapologetic, joyful, and committed to giving couples permission to embrace both their spirituality and their sensuality. Today, my story is my strength. Every challenge I’ve walked through—whether financial setbacks, intimacy struggles, or breaking cultural taboos—has equipped me to help others. I’m proof that you can love Jesus and love great sex, that you can be holy and hot, and that your marriage or relationship can thrive when you give it the attention, wisdom, and freedom it deserves.
My Coaching Philosophy
I believe intimacy is one of God’s greatest gifts, designed to nurture love, connection, and joy between partners. But somewhere along the way, many of us—especially in the Christian community—were taught to silence our desires, avoid honest conversations, or believe that passion was somehow “unholy.” I’m here to change that. My coaching philosophy is rooted in this truth: intimacy is not just physical—it is emotional, spiritual, and relational. When one area is neglected, the whole relationship feels the weight. That’s why my approach is holistic: we don’t just focus on what happens in the bedroom, we address communication, confidence, identity, and the freedom to enjoy pleasure without guilt or shame.
I call it the Hot & Holy approach:
Hot means passion, play, and pleasure. It’s about learning your body, discovering what brings joy, and creating spark and adventure in your love life.
Holy means intimacy with purpose, grounded in God’s design, rooted in love and covenant. It’s about seeing intimacy as worship, connection, and a reflection of God’s goodness.
When clients work with me, they can expect a safe, judgment-free zone where we say the words others are afraid to say out loud. I am bold but compassionate, direct yet gentle. I believe in telling the truth with love, equipping my clients with practical tools, and offering encouragement that inspires change. Coaching with me is not about quick fixes or surface solutions. It’s about uncovering the root of challenges, rewriting limiting beliefs, and building habits and intimacy skills that last a lifetime. Whether we’re talking about low libido, navigating intimacy during perimenopause, or reigniting passion after years of routine, my goal is always the same: to restore joy, confidence, and connection.
Above all, my philosophy is that you don’t have to choose between holy and hot—you can be both. And when you give yourself permission to embrace both, you’ll unlock the deepest level of intimacy, freedom, and love.
Who I Serve
The truth is, intimacy challenges show up in every stage of life—and I serve those who are ready to move from frustration to freedom. My clients often come to me feeling stuck, unseen, or ashamed, but they leave with clarity, confidence, and practical tools to create lasting change.
I serve women who feel disconnected from their desire, who want to enjoy their bodies but wrestle with shame, trauma, or low libido. Many are navigating life transitions like perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause and need support in rediscovering pleasure, managing changes, and feeling whole again.
I serve couples who love each other but struggle with communication, mismatched libidos, or a loss of spark. They want more than “roommate energy”—they want to laugh again, connect again, and enjoy intimacy that feels playful, passionate, and purposeful.
I serve wives-to-be who are preparing for marriage and don’t want to step into covenant unprepared. They desire guidance that is both godly and real—teaching them not just about sex, but about emotional connection, boundaries, and what it means to build intimacy with intention.
I also serve men who are ready to better understand intimacy from their partner’s perspective. Many wrestle with shame around performance, fear of rejection, or the stigma of using tools like C-rings or libido support. I help break that stigma, teaching men that intimacy is not about pressure, but about presence, connection, and confidence.
No matter who I’m serving, my goal is always the same: to create a safe space where faith and freedom meet, where the silence is broken, and where people can finally say, “I feel seen, I feel free, and I feel alive again.”
Credentials & Experience
I believe expertise matters when you’re trusting someone to walk with you through the most vulnerable parts of your life. That’s why I’ve combined both personal experience and professional training to serve my clients with excellence.
Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health & Wellness with a Christian emphasis and a certificate in Christian Counseling. I am also a Certified Sexual Health and Wellness Educator, equipping me with evidence-based tools to address intimacy challenges with both sensitivity and professionalism. I am a proud member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and continually invest in learning, research, and growth so that my clients always receive the best of what’s current and effective.
In addition to my academic background, I’ve served as an ordained pastor for over 11 years, walking alongside countless couples and individuals through their faith and relationship journeys. My work has also extended into authorship, having written five books—two focused on marriage and intimacy, and three on spiritual growth and character development—blending spiritual insight with practical application. But beyond degrees and titles, my most valuable credential is lived experience.
As a wife of over 18 years, I know firsthand the joys, struggles, and growth that intimacy in marriage requires. My journey has taught me resilience, humor, and grace—and I bring all of that into the coaching space. Together, my education, certifications, ministry, and personal journey uniquely position me to serve women and couples with both wisdom and compassion. When you work with me, you’re not just getting knowledge—you’re getting a partner who has walked the road, done the work, and is committed to seeing you win.
The Transformation I Promise
When clients come to me, they often feel tired, disconnected, or discouraged. Some are women who feel like their bodies betrayed them after kids or menopause. Some are men who feel constant pressure to perform but little space to be vulnerable. Some are couples who deeply love each other but feel like roommates instead of lovers. And many are singles who love God but feel unprepared to build intimacy God’s way. The good news is—you don’t have to stay there.
Through my Hot & Holy coaching, clients experience transformation that is both practical and powerful. Together, we uncover the roots of shame, silence, or struggle, and we replace them with tools, truth, and freedom. My clients often describe walking away with more confidence, more laughter, and more passion—not just in the bedroom, but in their everyday relationship. A woman who once felt “broken” in her desire learns that her body is not the enemy—it’s beautifully designed by God. A couple who hasn’t laughed or touched in months rediscovers playfulness, attraction, and communication. A husband who felt ashamed of using support tools realizes that intimacy is about connection, not performance. A single woman preparing for marriage gains wisdom, boundaries, and confidence before she ever says “I do.”
The transformation I promise isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about lasting change. It’s about going from feeling stuck, ashamed, or uncertain…to living bold, free, and joy-filled. It’s about couples going from surviving to thriving, and singles stepping into marriage prepared, confident, and hopeful. At the heart of it all, my promise is this: you don’t have to choose between holy and hot—you can be both. And when you embrace both, intimacy becomes not just something you do, but something that reflects the love, joy, and freedom God intended all along.
Let’s Work Together
If you’ve read this far, you’re probably here because something inside of you knows there’s more—you want more joy, more connection, more intimacy, more freedom. And I want you to know, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I would be honored to walk with you on this journey. Whether you’re a wife rediscovering her desire, a couple ready to reignite passion, a husband seeking confidence, or a single woman preparing for covenant, I create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for you to grow. When you coach with me, you’ll experience a balance of truth and grace, laughter and learning, faith and freedom. I’m not here to shame you, rush you, or give you cookie-cutter advice—I’m here to see you flourish. My deepest joy is watching clients move from silence to self-expression, from tension to tenderness, from frustration to fulfillment. If you’re ready to reignite intimacy, restore joy, and walk boldly in your identity as a lover, partner, and believer, let’s connect. Together, we can build the marriage, relationship, or personal confidence you’ve been longing for. Because you don’t have to choose—you can be holy and hot. And I’m here to help you keep it that way.
